Who we are

Verdict is operated by Shpigel Nadav Shimon, Israel, who acts as the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact for any privacy matter: support@finalverdict.ai. For payments, Paddle acts as Merchant of Record and is an independent controller of checkout and billing data (see Processors below).

What we store

Account data: your email address.
Debate content: the questions you submit, the debate transcripts, and the final answers. This content is yours to erase at any moment: deleting a debate removes the entire interaction — question, transcript, and verdict — from our live systems immediately, not on a schedule. Deleting your account erases everything at once, the moment you confirm; residual copies in encrypted infrastructure backups expire within 30 days.
Usage metrics: the counters we need to enforce your plan quota (verdicts consumed, timestamps).

Content you keep

Content you keep is still yours alone. Verdicts you choose not to delete are never used to train AI models — not by us, and not by the model providers, whose API terms exclude training on API inputs. No one reads your debates in the ordinary operation of the service: they render on your screen, our server logs carry no debate content, and database isolation means your account's data is reachable by your account alone. The only exceptions are the ones you'd expect — a debate you yourself share with support, or the rare case where abuse investigation or a legal obligation requires access.

Legal bases for processing

We process personal data on the following legal bases:

Performance of a contract: creating and maintaining your account, running the debates you request, showing your results and history, and providing support and refunds.
Legitimate interests: securing the service, preventing fraud and abuse (rate limits, quota enforcement, automated abuse detection), and improving reliability using aggregate usage metrics that identify no individual.
Consent: optional product-update emails, which you can withdraw at any time.
Legal obligation: retaining transaction records required for tax and accounting, handled principally by Paddle as Merchant of Record.

Processors

Anthropic and OpenAI: the content of your question is sent to their APIs for inference, under their API terms. Per both vendors' API policies, API inputs are not used to train their models.
Lovable / Supabase: hosting and database.
Paddle: payment processing for paid plans and passes. Paddle is the seller of record for all purchases and processes payment data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. We never receive or store your card details.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data.
We do not run advertising.
We do not train models on your content.

How we protect your data

All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS). Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with provider-level encryption at rest. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms and screened against known-compromised password lists at signup. Every user's data is isolated at the database layer with row-level security - one account can never read another's debates. Client applications cannot write directly to protected data; all writes pass through controlled server-side functions. API credentials live in a managed secrets vault and never appear in client code or logs; server logs contain no debate content and no credentials. Payment card data never touches our servers - checkout is handled end-to-end by Paddle, a PCI-DSS-compliant Merchant of Record. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we build so that failures stay contained.

Your rights

Deletion is immediate and self-serve. Delete any single debate from its page — the whole interaction is erased from live systems the moment you confirm. Delete your account from your account page and everything goes with it, instantly. No email required, no waiting period, no approval needed from us.
