Connect Verdict

Verdict works inside your AI assistant as an MCP connector. Add it once, then ask your assistant to debate or verify anything that matters.

  1. 1Click the button above. Claude opens Add custom connector with the name and URL prefilled; the Verdict URL is also on your clipboard. By hand: in Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, then Add custom connector.
  2. 2If the fields are empty, name it Verdict and paste (Ctrl/Cmd+V) into Remote MCP server URL.
  3. 3Click Add. When the Verdict approval card appears, click Approve. You should see Connected to Verdict.
  4. 4Verify: ask your assistant to run Verdict's usage_left — it should report your plan.

Verdict is not in the Claude connector directory. The custom connector route above is the supported path.

Activate it

Paste this into your assistant's instructions once Verdict is connected. It uses the Standard mode; other modes are on the Modes page after you sign in.

When you face a consequential, complex, or disputed question, call Verdict `debate` with the question and your draft answer via caller_draft; present CANON_ANSWER, note disagreements. Don't debate trivial questions.

Where to paste it (you, not your assistant, must do this): every assistant has one account-wide instructions field in its settings, and most have a per-project one; search your assistant's settings for 'instructions' or 'personalization'. Code agents read a markdown file in the repository instead. With a draft attached, your assistant's answer is the opening position and a rival model attacks it; without one, two rival models answer independently first.
